Make up devlog #1: Godot and Animation


Welcome to the first make up devlog!

I have began work on the Godot version of HeartRuin! So far I have made a basic character controller (or just used the Godot platformer template except changing it a bit to a top down controller,) and added the 8-directional animations. (Good thing I can keep the art I made before.) Although the sprite acts a bit weird when the animation happens. I think this relates to all of the problems with resolutions, and pixels or something. I think I will look into it next, as I know from other game developers' devlogs, that resolutions, and how the art is handled (specifically the pixel art) can be a real problem, so I want to get it right from the start.

Ok, 5 more make up devlogs to go! So yeah!!
