Working on Stuff!

Oh boy, I sure haven't made a devlog in a while...
This one is a short one but not because there isn't stuff to talk about:
1. I have been working on the Godot version of the game. I am still very reliant on tutorials, and I got to say it is a bit harder to add new stuff to this version of the game than when I was working with GDevelop since I am working in a new engine which actually needs code. And I am not familiar with the programing language that Godot uses (GDscript (not related to GDevelop)) because despite the fact that itis similar to Python (which I know), it has some differences and has a lot of extra game engine specific stuff. But I don't think this is a bad thing, considering I'm learning a lot, and are able to be more careful about what I add. (I'm trying to future proof the code, my organization, and a lot of the other stuff, but I'll still probably comeback later, more experienced, to change a lot).
2. We are working on a character redesign, it's not ready yet but @BurgerBun made a new outline for the character and I build of it, adding the things I thought worked from the previous design. This resulted in the character no longer looking so blocky, while still looking similar to before. Maybe I'll show the design in the next devlog (if it's done by then)+ Hothead also worked on some enemy designs which are very good.
3. As it is apparent I have decided to stop doing the weekly devlogs (and so make up devlogs as well), because these take some time to write and the rate at which I work on the game is quite inconsistent. But if I do write devlogs they will actually have some good updates.
(I have also attached some of the game testing screenshots above (with the old character design). Just don't mind the enemy being upside down on one of them and the Godot logo being compressed.) And that's some of the updates we have! So yeah!!
