Almost to Chapter 1!
Is it actually Sunday? Yes! Anyways, I'm almost ready to start developing chapter 1 of HeartRuin! The things I still need to do before I start work on chapter 1:
1. Finish the file system.
2. Make the pause menu.
3. Make the item system.
4. Make the journal system.
(Edit: 5. Make the combat system! (How did I forget to add this?))
5, (Edit: 6). Finish the character animations. (So far we decided that we will make 8 directional movement, which is hard but I think it will result in a better experience. I only need to make two more corner animations. Although I'm proud of the animations so far, I think that's over all they would probably will need to be remade later, except for the up and down ones, maybe. But for now I think these are good enough.)
6, (Edit: 7). Add some particles and polish.
7, (Edit: 8). Add a system for party members? (The question mark is there because maybe I can make that later, but it's also not good to put it of because I'll probably need it soon.)
8, (Edit: 9). Test and bug fix.
This is a lot but I can feel that we're getting close!
Also the cover and the art you can see was made by me as concept art (so it's not final.) I was just procrastinating and decided to try to work on my art skills, because despite having friends who can do art, I still have to do it most of the time, so I need to improve. I also added the two corner animations I've made so far. So yeah!
